•Housing Scheme for the Poor
Providing decent housing to the poor and homeless is the need of the hour. There is no better benefit than ensuring that every family in the Community has a safe, decent, and affordable place to call home. Our programs are aimed at reaching this goal. Till date we have adopted 4 such families and provided them with newly constructed houses. The construction of 5th house is nearing completion now.
•Completion of Partially built Homes
At HOPE India, we have taken up the responsibility of completing partially completed house for the families those who are unable finish it due to various financial constraints. As of now, for 10 families, we have finished their partially built homes by adding amenities required for a comfortable residence. Work is progress for 3 houses.
•Financial Assistance
HOPE is committed to provide relief to the peoples who are suffering from prolonged diseases, destitute women, and also to them who are on medical emergencies by way of giving financial assistance. HOPE volunteers are identifying such cases regularly without waiting for any specific requests. Financial assistance also being provided to the poor jobless to set up their own business, unprivileged students and for marriage of girls.
•HOPE India Educational Project
Students are admitted through written exam every year from the classes of 8th, 9th and 10th. They are provided with continuous training for personal and academic developments with the following objectives.
• To excel in life by helping them in identifying their talents, skills, aptitudes and interests and directing them to the right field.
• Prepare them for competitive exams including IAS/ IPS and hence address the lack of professional in our village.
• Cultivate moral and ethical values in our children, pursue them to be good humans and encourage them to be part of social service.
The education training camps are being conducted throughout the year, with leading faculties and Elite personalities as guests. This in way allow students to explore and develop their interests and abilities. They gain valuable skills that further develop passions and interests while preparing them for success in school and later in their higher studies. Started back in year 2014, 105 students are presently undergoing training with HOPE Education project.
HOPE India has joined hands with CIGI, a prominent NGO in Kerala to impart training to the high school level students from Class 8 from this year. A 3 year duration program named “HOPE-CIGI Talent tree” aims at , all-round development of the student to prepare them for various competitive exams like NTSE, NMMS etc and paving their way to Universities like IISER, NISER, IISC etc. 48 bright students have selected and started training under this scheme.
Everybody is successful- To ensure every growing kid in our village under goes the training process and succeeds in life one or the other way, Hope India now started conduct various programs for the registered students of class 4 from this year onwards. The program also geared towards helping struggling students improve their academic performance in school. Opened up for all students of Ponnad area, 32 students from Class V are participating in this program.
•PSC Coaching Centre
On the motto of “Government job for everybody”, we have running a PSC Coaching Centre at Ponnad. Expertise faculties giving extensive coaching to the Candidates, charging a nominal fee but ensuring high level of quality.
•HOPE India Youth Wing and Sports club
Hope India Youth Club has been established under the direction of HOPE India, provides excellent opportunity to the youth in the area to develop the personality skills and make them good citizens responsible to the society. It runs a sports club for promoting sports culture among youth. Regular volley ball coaching and matches are being arranged under the Club.
