Ponnad, a place of peace and green written all over it. Being blessed with the Vembanad waters on one side and the Perumthuruth Kari on the other, Ponnad boasts of an abundance of resources for the people. A beautiful village with beautiful people, who do not let religion and caste get in the way of their peace. Ponnad is a village that go with their traditions and customs as has been happening from so many years. The traditions and old customs do not let the standard of living to be dropped though, due to the presence of many NRIs.

Recently, a group of like-minded people from Ponnadgathered together with only one thing on their mind. How do we put an end to the sufferings the under-privileged face in the society? No, this is not a punishment those poor souls have to go through as consequence for their own actions. Their only fault is that they were born into needy families, or they have a natural problem that they cannot take care of. These people, as their times worsen, lose hope of an easier life ahead. They lose hope of pursuing their dreams.

WHAT WE DO

Every child is unique. Every child has his or her own, different inner gift or talent. Starting at an early age these children can begin their schooling. As years pass, these children will start to show their passions and talents. We will begin to develop them, to nurture their qualities and mould these students into potential successes. And in this way, we will give the parents HOPE.

Education requires money, as do most other things in life. When they do not have enough money to even feed their children three times a day, how would it be possible for them to pursue their education? HOPE would come forward to assist such talented kids in providing them with financial assistance and necessary guidance for their education from kindergarten to higher levels.
